Turkey and Cranberry Flatbread Appetizer

Turkey and Cranberry Flatbread Appetizer
  • Prep Time

    6

Ingredients

1/2 cup Ocean Spray® Craisins® Original Dried Cranberries 6 slices of bacon 2 cups turkey or sliced turkey breast 1 wheel of brie 3 green onions 1-2 flatbreads (you can make your own or buy these) 3 tablespoons honey Salt and pepper to taste

Steps

Cook your bacon on the stove top or in the oven. If you’re cooking it in the oven, bake it at 400 degrees for 18 minutes on the center rack. Use tin foil to help contain the grease mess. Cook your flatbread according to package directions. While the flatbread is pre-cooking, prep your turkey by cutting it or chopping it. If you’re using turkey breast, you can slice it into strips. Once flatbread is pre-cooked, cut your brie and layer it on top. Layer in your turkey. Add your Ocean Spray® Craisins® Dried Cranberries, bacon and green onions. Add salt and pepper to taste. I tend to add very little because the salt from the bacon will provide a lot of flavor. Bake according to flatbread directions, approx. 375 degrees for 8 minutes. You want it to cook just enough to melt the brie. Recipe copyright Rachel Quenzer of The Everyday Mom Life and Sugar Maple Farmhouse
